Irene and her siblings gathered together after celebrating their mom’s 65th birthday to take some family photos, but what they didn’t know was that Irene and her husband were pregnant!  …but we did…  Irene told us she wanted to surprise her family a few days before we went to meet the family and it turned out to make the day that much more special.  As we set up for the first family photo, Irene turned to her family to let them in on the good news.  Some of them were still posing for me at first but when Irene’s words kicked in, everyone got excited real quick…

Happy.  It was the one word Farnaz and Andrew used to sum up how they envisioned their wedding day.  Not only was their wedding day a happy day, but it was filled with so much love from their family and close friends.  It was evident the minute I stepped foot into the bridal suite as Farnaz and her bridesmaids were getting ready, along with her mom, future mother in law and grandmother who could not stop smiling the entire time.  Farnaz and Andrew’s beautiful wedding took place at Tappan Hill Mansion, where they planned for an outdoor garden ceremony.  Everyone lined up outdoors for the rehearsal, then the maître d looked up the sky and told everyone to go inside.  It started to rain literally two seconds after the entire wedding party was indoors. Talk about close call!  It was wonderful to be part of such a happy day and to photograph an incredibly sweet couple.

Huge thanks to Allan for helping me out!

Please enjoy!
